Extension of the primary school in Petershagen

The structure of the building ensures an adequate integration into the village environment. In addition to the western entrance, which is characterised by the historic old building, the new building provides a prominent entrance, forming an independent and distinctive welcome to the school grounds, both in terms of space and materials. The forecourt and the bicycle parking spaces separate the pedestrian access from the car parking spaces for teachers and visitors further north. Additional bicycle stands are evenly distributed near the entrances to the various buildings. A main north-south axis reorganises the central area within the campus. The individual buildings and exterior spaces are situated along this promenade.
