Neufreimann München
Residential construction, construction site MU 1(7), second phase of the Neufreimann development in München
Buildings varying in height and colour define the new urban development in Munich's Neufreimann district, built on a uniformly designed two-storey base. The communal facilities, compactly organised around the central foyer to the west and north, apart-ments facing Grüne Gasse to the east and commercial premises to the south form the two-storey base zone of the block. Two-storey passageways also lead into the interior of the block and open it up to the adjacent streets and the town square to the west. The compact access cores connect to the passageways and are consistently oriented inwards towards the protected communal interior of the block, an intensively land-scaped oasis, thus promoting a lively neighbourhood community. The façades are constructed on a grid of approximately 3.0 x 3.05 m and are structured in a rectangular grid towards the outside, while the interior of the block is characterised by protruding balconies and intensively landscaped terraces. Parapets and cladding made of ce-ramic panels, which distinguish the different building structures with finely nuanced blue-green tones, are filled with sand-coloured exposed concrete.
